An awesome app to manage order taking in a restaurant: increasing restaurant staff performance, eliminating staff mistakes in taking an order, saving operation cost with fewer staffs, online order report via the web portal. The app is a part of mCafeteria system, which is a cloud-based solution requires no additional hardware and software to run. All you need are a web browser and common iOS devices. The application consists of phone apps for waiters, a web portal for restaurant admin, a kitchen web tool and a front-desk web tool.


Phone apps are iOS devices. It supports unlimited users on unlimited devices. Orders and Tables status are synchronized at real-time to allow any user can take an order, check out or process any order from any devices. The apps also support offline mode in case the server cannot be reached due wifi issue at the restaurant.


The web portal is a web application specialized for tablets or mobile device. The web portal provides many options for restaurant admin to create food menu, configure tax and service charges, staff management and others settings. With dashboard provided in the web portal, all sale data can be presented at any time.


Kitchen web tool is a simple web tool designed to be displayed on smartTV or tablet from web browser. The order from staff will be displayed on kitchen screen instantly. Kitchen staff can change the status of a food item with a simple tap on the screen and this will change will be notified to guest staff.


The front-desk web tool is another option to process the order. This tool allows an order can proceed via computer screen of the cashier. The front-desk web tool can receive checkout or print request from mobile devices.
